About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and passionate B2B sales professional to lead our growing sales team and contribute to the business growth by expanding our client base and fostering strong relationships with customers. 

The role is perceived to include a combination of directing and managing the sales team, and handling customer acquisition.  The role will play a key role in developing and implementing strategic yet realistic plans to drive revenue and business growth.

Responsibilities

Team Management

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company goals and objectives
  • Lead and manage a high-performing sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and ongoing support
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to effectively position our products and services
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute effective sales plans
  • Drive sales performance through forecasting, pipeline management and regular sales review/reporting

Customer Acquisition 

  • Identify and pursue business opportunities to expand our customer base
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients and key stakeholders
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients
  • Negotiate and close sales contracts and agreements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing or related fields; Master’s degree is a PLUS
  • 7+ years’ experience in B2B sales and account management
  • At least 2 years experience in building and managing sales teams  
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and revenue growth
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking
  • Ability to understand and articulate value proposition for products / services
  • Tech-savvy, with experience in using Google Suite, Office 365 and CRM tools 
  • Open to learning and adopting new tools
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build and maintain long term relationships
  • Flexible, goal-oriented and resourceful
