One of the Business Recovery Center (BRC) sites of Total Information Management (TIM) Corp. – one of ECCI’s valued business consulting clients – recently obtained compliance certification on Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) version 3.2, which assures its enterprise clients of the company’s commitment to maintain confidentiality of all information that it stores, processes, and transmits.
Founded jointly by a pool of international major credit card companies (Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express) in 2004, PCI-DSS aims to optimize the security of credit, debit and cash card transactions and protect cardholders against misuse of their personal information. Compliance to the standard is validated annually by an external Qualified Security Assessor such as Crossbow Labs, which conducted the assessment of the said TIM BRC site.
TIM Corp. is part of the Zenutna Group of Companies and is a 100-percent Filipino-owned technology solutions company. It is one of the most enduring IT companies in the Philippines and a trusted technology partner to some of the country’s largest institutions. TIM BRC sites are fully equipped and professionally manned, and are available for subscription to clients who want to ensure continuity of operations in cases of planned or unplanned events that would render their data centers inoperable.
