ECCI had once again gathered industry leaders, government heads, experts and advocates last March 27 in InterContinental Hotel, Makati City for the ASEAN Corporate Sustainability Summit and Awards (ACSSA). With the theme: “Shifting Gears: Fostering Sustainable Value”, over 25 local and international industry leaders engaged with 250 delegates in plenary sessions and in five learning breakout sessions. The summit aimed to promote the importance of using integrated thinking, a value chain approach, responsible leadership and collaboration across all stakeholders as drivers of creating sustainable value.
The event was concluded with the awarding ceremony recognizing the organizations for incorporating corporate responsibility in their business operations. The awards were categorized into 10 categories for corporates and a special award was introduced youth to drive the commitment from the youth towards sustainable development. The award was open for college students with innovative solution towards resource efficiency.
